Section 2 - Handcrafted Products and Accuracy
Handmade Variation: All of our candles are individually handcrafted in small batches. Because of this artisan process, slight variations in color, pattern, texture, and finish are to be expected. The unique product you receive may vary slightly from the website photos, making each piece truly one of a kind. These natural variations are a hallmark of handmade items and are not considered faults or defects.
Display Differences: We make every effort to display the colors and images of our products as accurately as possible. However, we cannot guarantee that your device’s screen display of any color will be perfectly accurate.
Changes and Availability: Descriptions of our products and product pricing are subject to change at any time without notice at our sole discretion. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time or limit the quantities of any products we offer.
Section 3 - Orders and Payments
Order Acceptance: When you place an order, it represents an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept, decline, modify, or cancel your order for any reason at our discretion. Your order is not fully accepted until it is confirmed and payment is processed.
Cancellations: Please review your order carefully before submitting, as we may be unable to accommodate cancellation requests after an order has been accepted.
Refunds: In the event that we must cancel an order after your payment instrument has already been processed, we will issue a full refund to your original payment method.
Section 4 - Shipping and Carrier Liability
All delivery times provided at checkout are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
Once your package is handed over to the courier (NZ Post), the title and risk of loss pass to you. We are not liable for unexpected delivery delays, transit issues, or lost parcels caused by the shipping carrier.
You are entirely responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. We are not liable for orders delivered to an incorrect person or location due to inaccurate shipping details provided at checkout.
Section 5 - Essential Candle Safety and Customer Liability
Customer Responsibility: In purchasing these products, it is entirely the customer's responsibility to burn and handle the candles in a safe manner to protect people, pets, and property. We take zero responsibility for fire damage, injury, or improper use of candles once they are in your possession.
Basic Fire Safety:
Never leave a burning candle unattended.
Never burn a candle on or near anything that can catch fire (such as furniture, drapes, or books).
Keep burning candles out of the reach of children and pets at all times.
Safe Burning Guidelines:
Always trim the cotton wick to roughly 5mm to 7mm before every single burn to prevent high flames or uneven flaring.
Always place your candle on a sturdy, heat-resistant base, tray, or plate designed for candle use to safely catch any melting wax that flows over the organic shapes.
Discontinue burning your pillar or fruit candles when roughly 2 inches of wax remains for a safe margin of security.
Never move or touch a candle while it is burning or while the wax pool is fully liquefied.
Use a candle snuffer to safely extinguish the flame and avoid wax splattering. Never use water to put out a candle.
Section 6 - Intellectual Property
All content published and made available on this site—including images, text, logos, product names, designs, and anything that contributes to the composition of our site—is our exclusive intellectual property.
